One of the many highlights of April was working with Greystone GT at Portimão as the team began its International GT Open campaign in which it has two entries; the #33 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo PRO entry driven by Dean Macdonald and Zak Meakin and the sister #24 PROAM entry piloted by Andrey Borodin and Oliver Webb.
Dean and Zak had a fantastic weekend, finishing on the podium in Race 1 and winning Race 2, and left Portugal leading the championship standings, one point ahead of Christian Mansell and Maximilian Gotz. Andrey and Oliver took an 11th place finish in class in Race Two.

Racing in Portugal is always a joy, with the beautiful Autódromo International do Algarve and its dramatic elevation changes providing some great on-track action. JB Data Engineering very much looks forward to rejoining Greystone GT as the season progresses.
Our diaries for this year are now very full but we’d love to support you if the schedule allows. Please call us on 00(44) 7717 562169 or email jordan@jbdataengineering.co.uk if we can help you at a circuit in any way in 2026.
Master the Stop: Why the VBOX Pit Lane Timer is Your Secret Weapon for Endurance Success

In endurance racing, a podium is rarely won the track alone - it is often lost in the pits. As we head into the peak of the 2026 endurance season, JB Data Engineering is proud to highlight the VBOX Pit Lane Timer, the definitive tool for eliminating guesswork and avoiding costly penalties during crucial pit stop windows.
Precision When Every Second Counts
The VBOX Pit Lane Timer is engineered to manage the high-pressure environment of the pit lane with surgical precision. By recognising pre-set entry points, the unit automatically switches modes to provide exactly what the driver needs.
On Track: Displays your current stint time.
In Pit Lane: Switches to a high-accuracy live speed display to ensure you stay under the limit.
In Pit Box: Initiates a clear countdown to the exact moment you should leave.
Real-Time LED Feedback
Using a highly visible array of six LEDs, the timer provides instant visual prompts. Whether you’re monitoring speed relative to the pit lane limit or watching the countdown to release, these LEDs allow the driver to react instantly without staring at a screen. For teams, an optional Secondary OLED Display can be added to mirror the countdown, ensuring the pit crew and driver are perfectly synchronised for minimal-loss release.
