JB Data Engineering was proud to be a member of the Data Scrutineering team for the final weekend of the British Endurance Championship and Britcar Trophy Championship at Snetterton. The weekend was a significant one in the history of the BEC as it was the last time that we will see separate grids for the Endurance class and the Britcar Trophy entries and the final time that the series will see two-hour contests. For 2025, the championship has announced that the weekend format will see a mix of 90-minute and double 45-minute races.

As we have mentioned previously, JB Data Engineering is extremely grateful for the help and co-operation across all the teams and drivers in enabling the Data Scrutineering team to carry out its duties in a friendly and relaxed manner. It really makes a big difference and we thank you all.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Claire Headley for inviting us to be part of the British Endurance Championship / Britcar Trophy team. We have hugely enjoyed the season and with all the exciting changes planned for 2025, we very much hope we will be invited back next season.
Fun Cup Endurance
Morpheus Motorsport enjoyed a fantastic penultimate weekend of the Fun Cup Endurance Championship at Donington Park and JB Data Engineering was delighted to be part of the squad. The team entered five cars for the three-hour enduro around the 1.98 miles of the Derbyshire circuit so team work and good communication were absolutely essential to ensure that race strategies were optimised.
Neil Burroughs and Ted Bradbury qualified the #195 Morpheus Racing car on pole position and went on to take the chequered flag to stand on the top step of the podium for the second time in 2024 and their 4th podium finish in class.

It wasn’t all plain sailing for the team, though, with the #109 Morpheus Motorsport entry driven by Chris Hart and Stephen Walton forced into retirement with a gearbox issue and the #103 Axiametrics car piloted by Christopher Weatherill, Jonathan Railton and Greg Evans delayed by a clutch failure.
As we move towards the final weekend of the season at Oulton Park, Neil and Ted are currently 5th in the overall standings with the #103 crew 7th in the Masters standings.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Morpheus Motorsport for placing their trust in JB Data Engineering and we look forward to finishing the Fun Cup Endurance Championship season in style later this month.
British GT

JB Data Engineering was proud to be part of the Toyota Gazoo Racing UK squad for the final round of the British GT Championship at Brands Hatch on the last weekend of September. The team’s #44 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo sported a new livery for its last outing of 2024 and, in support of the British Army Motorsport Association, the #44 car received a full military makeover with a matt camo wrap. Formed in 1960, the Association provides serving members with an opportunity to participate in motorsport in the form of competitive motorsport events.
Drivers Michael O’Brien and Benjamin Tusting joined the team for Brands Hatch and qualified the #44 car 11th overall on the GT4 grid and 4th in the GT4PA class. Unfortunately a stone through the radiator meant that O’Brien and Tusting were unable to show the full competitive potential of the Toyota GR Supra but they did set the fastest GT4PA lap with a 1:31.643 so the pace was there even if luck was not on our side.
JB Data Engineering would like to say a huge thank you to Toyota Gazoo Racing UK for inviting us to be part of the team in 2024 and we very much hope we will be invited back next year
