This cooling fan can be fitted to a VBOX Video HD2 when used in extreme ambient temperatures. If the ambient cabin temperature exceeds 50 °C, it is worth considering using this accessory if you need to handle the unit with bare hands.
 
The cooling fan clips onto the HD2 recording unit's case fins and keeps the enclosure at a lower temperature. The fan plugs into the 'POWER' socket, with the vehicle power cable then being plugged into the trailing socket.
