The 6” MXP Dash Data Logger has integrated shift array, configurable multi-colour alarms, Wi-Fi & USB connectivity, GPS, inertial platform, analogue, both digital inputs, and outputs.
There is also a “strada” version available for use in road cars. It has all the same characteristics minus the logging features.
Some of the features of the MXP include:
Wi-Fi and USB connectivity
Analogue and digital inputs
1000Hz channel sampling from the over 1000 ECU’s stored in its database
And much, much more
Freely configurable pages
You can define all the custom pages you wish, choosing among a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and measure units. Swapping between pages can be managed pushing one or two push buttons.
High Contrast TFT Display
The MXP features an amazingly clear, high contrast 6” TFT display. The brightness optimized via a built in ambient light sensor. To mimic a regular dash, the display can be viewed in the “street icons” version.
Flexible alarms & custom street icons
The MXP features five RGB LED’s that can be fully customized. From the colour, to the frequency, and even the error messages displayed on the screen, it is all up to you. This can be done in the Race Studio 3 program, under the “Icons Management” tab.
Two Digital Outputs
Two digital outputs are offered with the MXP. These outputs can be connected to a series of external systems such as additional lights or turning a cooling fan on or off when a certain even happens.
Camera inputs, also for mirror camera
There are two analogue camera inputs available on the MXP. This gives you the ability to instantly turn your display into a mirror camera at the push of a button.
Integrated shift light array
Just like the warning lights, the 10 integrated RGB LED are fully customizable. You can choose the right colour for the right gear. They are located at the top of the display and are highly visible in any lighting conditions.
Aim MXP Connection Examples
With the CAN Output you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network in order to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
Race Studio 3
The RaceStudio 3 platform makes sense of all the different inputs coming in. It allows the user to see, create, modify and even delete information from all channels. These include ECU signals, digital and analogue signals, alarms, shift lights, display pages, etc. Basically, it is the brains of the operation.
With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by MXS 1.2 and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances
The MXP makes it easy to upload data to your PC with its secure 802.11 Wi-Fi connection. This can be done from up to 50 metres away.
